Description
1929 Booysen Essay in black, rare, perforated block of four, UM, but vertical crease affecting right hand pair, does not significantly detract.
These essays were produced around the same time as the Darmstadt Trials by J.L. Booysen when conducting tests for the printing of the unhyphenated Penny Ship (SG.42) . They are usually encountered imperforate in various colours including violet, black, brown & blue.
